More than 280,000 Employees from 2,200 Companies, Including Korean Air, Samsung Medison, McDonald's, and Starbucks, Use the Service
NHN Payco's corporate welfare solution transaction volume increased by 30% over the past year. The company attracted corporate clients such as Korean Air, Samsung Medison, McDonald's, and Starbucks. It plans to expand its business-to-business (B2B) operations.
NHN Payco announced on the 11th that last year, the transaction amount for corporate welfare solution services, including meal vouchers, welfare points, and gift certificates, reached 220 billion KRW, a 30% increase compared to the previous year.
They explained that 280,000 employees from 2,200 domestic companies are using NHN Payco's B2B corporate welfare services.
The mobile meal voucher service secured about 70,000 usage locations, one of the largest in the industry. Meal vouchers are sold in offline meal voucher zones in areas densely populated by office workers, online delivery services (convenience stores, cafes, Yogiyo, etc.), and brand-specific applications (Salady, BBQ, etc.).
The annual transaction amount for meal vouchers increased by 26% compared to the previous year. Last year, Korean Air and Samsung Medison newly adopted Payco meal vouchers. The number of meal voucher users increased by 56% during the same period. In April last year, McDonald's M-Order and nationwide Starbucks stores introduced Payco meal vouchers in October.
The company stated that among domestic corporate welfare points, their service has the widest applicability. It can be used at 600,000 Payco online and offline affiliated stores. When issuing a physical card dedicated to welfare points, it can be used regardless of whether the store is affiliated.
About 600 companies and institutions, including Nexon, Neowiz, Wemade, Korea Student Aid Foundation, and Hanyang University Hospital, with approximately 57,000 employees, use Payco welfare points.
Last year, the annual transaction amount for Payco welfare point services increased by 44%, and the number of users grew by 46% compared to the previous year.
A company representative said, "Payco B2B welfare solutions are steadily growing by improving the welfare experience of companies and employees," adding, "We plan to continue providing the optimal solutions enjoyed by companies and employees."
