The movie 'Geomeun Sunwadeul' (The Black Widows) is gaining momentum in Southeast Asia. According to distributor NEW on the 11th, it surpassed 1 million cumulative viewers in Indonesia and topped the box office in the Philippines for two consecutive weeks.

A NEW representative said, "It is scheduled to be released in Singapore and Malaysia on the 13th, and in Vietnam on the 21st."


'Geomeun Sunwadeul' is a film that focuses on people who undertake a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by an evil spirit. It was released domestically on the 24th of last month and recorded a cumulative audience of 1,617,02 by the 10th. It was previously pre-sold to 160 countries and has surpassed its break-even point.
