Recognized as "Best Refrigerator" by GoodHousekeeping
Samsung Electronics announced on the 11th that it was selected as the No. 1 trusted brand in the refrigerator category among the 'Most Trusted Brands in the UK 2025' recently announced by the global current affairs weekly Newsweek.
Newsweek, together with the market research firm BrandSpark, conducted an in-depth survey of over 17,000 UK consumers and selected trusted brands by major retail sectors such as baby and children’s products, food and beverages, health, beauty and personal care, and home appliances.
In addition, Samsung Electronics' 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' refrigerator received the highest score and was recognized as the best refrigerator in the 'The best fridge freezers, tried and tested' ranking recently announced by the UK home appliance specialist media GoodHousekeeping.
The 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' refrigerator features smart home functions through a wide screen, ample storage space, and a Beverage Center, earning a score of 90 out of 100. GoodHousekeeping praised the 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' refrigerator, saying, "There is no more advanced refrigerator than this." This refrigerator not only allows users to check calendars, shopping lists, meal plans, and recipes through the screen but also provides various smart home experiences such as TV streaming functions and supports voice control.
GoodHousekeeping highly evaluated, "The AI Vision Inside feature automatically records ingredients being added or removed through internal cameras, and through the SmartThings app, users can check the contents of the refrigerator even when outside the home, making grocery shopping convenient." It also explained, "In addition to ample storage space, the foldable shelves allow for storing tall ingredients, and the 'CoolSelect+' feature enables flexible use by converting the lower freezer compartment into a refrigerator compartment."
Samsung Electronics refrigerators are not only well-received by UK consumers but also recognized for quality and technology by receiving the Royal Warrant certification from the British royal family in December last year. This is an official certification from the British royal family awarded to companies that have supplied products and services to the royal family for more than five years.
Samsung Electronics was selected as the refrigerator supplier to the British royal family in 2015 and has since supplied various home appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, and Air Dressers to the royal family. Samsung Electronics plans to continuously enhance product reliability through its lineup of refrigerators equipped with AI functions, including the 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' and 'Bespoke AI Hybrid' refrigerators this year. Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics' TVs and TV soundbars also ranked first in their respective categories in the 'Most Trusted Brands in the UK 2025' announced by Newsweek.
