Thorough Management of Pre-implementation Procedures and Budget Execution Status for 60 Pledge Projects, Large-scale Investment Projects, and Newly Prioritized Projects...
Establishment of 'Major Project Monitoring' System Last Year...
Full-scale Management of Key Projects Begins with February Report Meeting
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) is taking thorough management measures to fulfill its promises to residents and to steadily advance major district projects.
On the 10th, the district held a 'Major Investment Project Report Meeting' to share the progress of large-scale investment projects, discuss improvement directions, and further strengthen the execution of campaign pledges.
The main projects discussed included investment projects exceeding 1 billion KRW such as ▲Nakseongdae Park Healing Garden creation ▲Construction of the District Senior Comprehensive Welfare Town ▲Construction of the Miseong-dong Complex Office Building.
Entering the latter half of the 8th elected term, the district will steadily push forward 60 projects under six major goals this year.
It plans to focus on managing the implementation status of 24 major investment projects including ‘Nangok-ro Four Seasons Vivid Garden Creation’ and newly prioritized projects this year, aiming to maximize tangible results that residents can feel.
Additionally, the district will continuously monitor the progress of pledge fulfillment quarterly and accelerate the implementation of major projects through thorough management and training of responsible personnel.
Meanwhile, since last year, the district has established a ‘Major District Project Management Plan’ and built a monitoring system for systematic management of core projects such as campaign pledges and large-scale investment projects during the 8th elected term.
Through project monitoring including ▲regular report meetings ▲preliminary procedure compliance checks ▲budget execution status checks, potential risks arising during the project process are proactively resolved.
As a result, last year the district completed resident-centered core projects such as ▲opening of Gwanak Senior Happiness Center and 50 Plus Center ▲removal of the Starlight-covered Stream and creation of waterfront spaces ▲opening of Gwanaksan Prime Park.
Mayor Park Jun-hee said, “Successfully fulfilling the promises and various projects made to residents is the top priority of administration,” adding, “This year as well, we will focus on creating a happy life for residents, always communicate with them, and concentrate all administrative efforts on the development of Gwanak and the fruition of campaign projects.”
