In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 10th (local time), she received 4.48 points, jumping up four spots from 11th place last week. She earned points by finishing 2nd at the LPGA Tour Founders Cup (total prize money $2 million), which concluded the day before in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Ko Jin-young, who had dropped to double-digit rankings after reaching 10th place in the world rankings last December, had once fallen to 12th place but has now regained a top 10 position. Ko Jin-young's personal best world ranking is 1st place.
Nelly Korda (USA), Lydia Ko (New Zealand), Yin Ruoning (China), Jinny Titinger (Thailand), and Lilia Vu (USA) maintained their positions from 1st to 5th. Among Korean players, following Ko Jin-young, Yoo Hae-ran ranked 8th, Yang Hee-young 12th, Yoon In-na 25th, Shin Ji-ae 26th, Kim Hyo-joo 29th, and Lim Jin-hee 31st. Korean-American player No Ye-rim (USA), who won the Founders Cup, jumped from 68th place last week to 32nd place.
