‘Visiting Shintongbangtong Apartment Management Education’ Launched
Aiming to Foster a Community Housing Culture Free of Conflicts and Disputes
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 10th that it will operate the ‘Visiting Shintongbangtong Apartment Management Education’ to foster a community housing culture free of conflicts and disputes.
The Apartment Policy Division’s Apartment Audit Team has improved its previous focus mainly on apartment management audits. Starting this year, apartment audit officers will visit newly designated mandatory management apartment sites to provide customized education tailored to the characteristics of each apartment.
The education will be conducted by visiting newly designated mandatory management apartment sites within the jurisdiction that have applied in advance. It will cover topics such as ▲formation of apartment management organizations ▲selection of housing management companies and service/construction contractors ▲handling of defects, and other information necessary during the initial move-in period. The program will be delivered as a Q&A style face-to-face session addressing site-specific issues and providing necessary information on overall apartment management.
The education targets apartments that have been newly occupied or converted to mandatory management within the last three years. Applications for the education can be submitted in writing to the Apartment Audit Team of the Apartment Policy Division, Changwon Special City.
Park Hyun-ho, Director of the Urban Policy Bureau, stated, "With the recent urbanization leading to an increase in apartments, complaints related to apartment management disputes and negligence have also risen. Starting this year, we will operate visiting face-to-face education to prevent these issues by providing prior guidance on relevant laws and regulations." He added, "Through the ‘Visiting Shintongbang Apartment Management Education,’ we will do our best to establish a healthy residential environment culture."
