Expectations for Revitalizing Attraction and Hosting of International Conferences in Daejeon
Daejeon Tourism Organization announced that it will launch and operate the 'Daejeon MICE Information Platform' website on the 10th to vitalize the local MICE industry.
On the website, users can find information necessary for hosting international conferences in the Daejeon area, including: △Guidance on attracting, pre-promoting, and supporting the hosting of international conferences △Successful cases of international conference hosting △MICE infrastructure △MICE network △MICE promotional materials, photos, and videos.
The platform also offers a feature where organizers wishing to attract or host international conferences can request consultations with the dedicated organization through a community bulletin board.
The Daejeon MICE Information Platform is accessible on both PC and mobile devices.
Yoon Sungkuk, President of Daejeon Tourism Organization, said, "Through the Daejeon MICE Information Platform website, we will not only provide support services for attracting and hosting international conferences, but also effectively promote Daejeon's unique MICE support programs as a one-stop service including conventions, accommodations, and tourism, thereby strengthening our competitiveness as a MICE city."
