Webinar on the 2025 Revised Tax Law
for Corporate Tax Officers

Samjong KPMG announced on the 10th that it will hold a '2025 Revised Tax Law Webinar' for about 1,500 corporate tax officers on the 20th.

In this seminar, Samjong KPMG's tax experts will explain the background and legislative intent of the revisions, as well as the major amendments by tax category, in five sessions covering the Corporate Tax Act, Restriction of Special Taxation Act, International Taxation, Value-Added Tax Act, and Local Tax Basic Act.

The revised tax laws to be implemented this year include ▲ rationalization of taxation on employee discount amounts ▲ relaxation of requirements for dedicated research personnel and expansion of deductible expense scope ▲ detailed provisions on tax benefits for acquisition of multiple voting rights shares of venture companies ▲ rationalization of tax credits for stock acquisition of technology innovation-type small and medium enterprises.
