Jinju City Operates 'Running National Sinmungo' as a Public Communication Channel

Expected to Serve as an On-site Communication Channel
for Small Business Counseling and Support for Households in Welfare Crisis

Jinju City in Gyeongnam will operate the "Running People's Petition Office," co-hosted with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, on the 13th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jinju City Central Underground Shopping Center (Central Plaza B-33 store).

Jinju City Operates 'Running National Sinmungo' as a Public Communication Channel

The "Running People's Petition Office" is a communication channel for the public, where a counseling team composed of members from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and collaborating organizations visits complaint sites directly to resolve grievances through consultation, especially for citizens who find it difficult to visit institutions or are not familiar with using the internet despite having complaints or inconveniences.

This time, the "Running People's Petition Office" involves the Small Enterprise and Market Service and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare as collaborating organizations. The consultation areas cover ▲ small business management and support ▲ support for welfare crisis households outside the institutional framework ▲ and overall administration including administration, welfare, and environment.

Citizens wishing to receive consultation can visit the event venue on the day from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. without prior reservation (the service is not available during lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.).

A Jinju City official said, "We expect a lot of interest and participation from citizens facing difficulties such as small business owners struggling with management and loan issues, as well as crisis households in welfare blind spots."
