Gwangju Transportation Corporation to Recruit 29 Substitute Public Officials

Gwangju Transportation Corporation announced on the 10th that it will recruit 29 substitute workers to fill vacancies caused by the leave or sick leave of public employees.


The recruitment breakdown by field is as follows: 15 for station operations, 10 for cleaning, 2 for facility/security, and 2 for maintenance.


Eligibility requirements are as follows: applicants must have their registered address in Gwangju on their resident registration from the day before the announcement (the 5th) until the final test date (document screening), or must have been registered in Gwangju for at least three years as of the day before the announcement. Both men and women aged 18 to 64 are eligible, with no other specific qualifications required.


However, to support the employment of socially disadvantaged groups, applicants aged 50 or older and those eligible for employment assistance will receive a 5-10% additional score. In the event of a tie, preference will be given to employment assistance recipients, persons with disabilities, North Korean defectors, multicultural families, basic livelihood security recipients, and single-parent families.


Applications must be submitted in person or by proxy to the General Affairs Team on the 4th floor of the corporation's headquarters (760 Sangmu-daero, Seo-gu, Gwangju) from the 20th to the 26th. After the document screening, the final successful candidates will be announced on the 31st of next month.
