Jung Dong-hyun, the flagship of Korean alpine skiing, won the silver medal in the slalom event at the 2025 Harbin Winter Asian Games.
On the 9th, Jung Dong-hyun recorded a total time of 1 minute 29.09 seconds in the men's slalom held at the Yabuli Ski Resort in China, finishing second behind Japan's Takayuki Koyama (1 minute 28.12 seconds).

Jung Dong-hyun, who won gold medals in the super combined at the 2011 Astana-Almaty Games and in the slalom event at the 2017 Sapporo Games, narrowly missed winning gold for the third consecutive time.
In the first run, Jung Dong-hyun recorded 45.01 seconds, placing third behind Japan's Neo Kamada (44.74 seconds) and Koyama (44.83 seconds). In the second run, he recorded 44.08 seconds, the second-best overall, moving up to second place with a total time of 1 minute 29.09 seconds and earning the silver medal.
Koyama recorded the best time of 43.29 seconds among all competitors in the second run, securing a come-from-behind victory. Kamada, who was first in the first run, fell to fourth place (44.51 seconds) in the second run and had to settle for the bronze medal with a total time of 1 minute 29.25 seconds.
Alongside Jung Dong-hyun, Park Jae-yoon finished fourth (1 minute 29.53 seconds), and Jung Min-sik placed fifth (1 minute 30.17 seconds).
Korean alpine skiing concluded the competition with two silver medals. The day before, Kim So-hee won a silver medal in the women's slalom event.
