"Why Haven't You Paid Me Back?" ... 60-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Stabbing Acquaintance with Knife, Leaving Them in Critical Condition

A woman who stabbed an acquaintance with a weapon over a debt dispute, leaving him in critical condition, has been arrested.

According to the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency and Changwon Seobu Police Station, a woman in her 60s, identified as A, is suspected of stabbing a male acquaintance in his 60s, B, multiple times with a weapon at a motel in Uichang-gu, Changwon City, around 1:30 PM on the 5th.

It is understood that she wielded the weapon during an argument with B over repayment of money he had borrowed from her.

B was rushed to a nearby hospital but is reported to be in critical condition.

A drank poison after the crime and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital, with her life not in danger.

The police plan to investigate the exact motive for the crime once both individuals have recovered.
