The field infrastructure improvement project, with a total budget of 3.1 billion KRW, will pave 5.05 km of farm roads and improve 1.05 km of drainage channels, aiming for completion by the end of this year.
This project, with a total investment of 3.1 billion KRW, will pave 5.05 km of farm roads and improve 1.05 km of drainage channels, targeting completion by December this year. Once completed, it is expected to benefit farmland covering 116.7 hectares.
The field infrastructure improvement project is being implemented to enhance the quality and productivity of field crops by improving agricultural infrastructure in fields with weak production facilities. In particular, by developing water resources and constructing farm roads in clustered fields, the project is expected to promote the mechanization of field farming, help address labor shortages, increase residents' income, and aid in disaster prevention.
Over the past three years, the county has invested a total of 3.8 billion KRW to complete field infrastructure improvement projects in three villages: Gunoe Samdu, Sinji Wolbu, and Yaksan Udu.
A county official stated, "We will continue to promote the field infrastructure improvement project according to our mid- to long-term plans."
