Promotion of Hydrogen Electric Vehicle Supply Project
Starting from the 10th
Gyeonggi Namyangju City (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 7th that it will promote the ‘Hydrogen Electric Vehicle Supply Project’ starting from the 10th to establish an eco-friendly transportation culture and improve air quality.
This project is targeted at individuals or organizations who have had an address in Namyangju City for more than one month. The city plans to supply 40 hydrogen electric vehicles with a total budget of 1.3 billion KRW, providing a subsidy of 32.5 million KRW per vehicle.
Citizens who wish to purchase a hydrogen electric vehicle can sign a vehicle purchase contract through a dealership and then submit the application form and related documents to the dealership. Afterward, the dealership registers the support documents on the Zero Emission Vehicle Integrated Website, completing the application process.
In particular, this hydrogen electric vehicle supply project simplified the existing postal submission method to an electronic submission method by utilizing the ‘Pro-mokmin-gwan System.’ Through this, the subsidy payment processing period has been shortened, and administrative procedures have been simplified to enhance citizen convenience.
A Namyangju City official stated, “Through administrative innovation in the hydrogen electric vehicle supply project, we will support citizens to purchase hydrogen electric vehicles more easily,” and added, “We expect this project to contribute to establishing an eco-friendly transportation culture and play an important role in responding to climate change and achieving carbon neutrality.”
