Incheon City Supports Small Business Startups... Crowdfunding Support Project Recruitment

Incheon City is recruiting companies to participate in the small business startup crowdfunding support project.

This project aims to provide early-stage small business startups with opportunities to validate their startup items in the market and support initial operating funds to help them enter the market stably. The recruitment period is from the 7th to the 4th of next month, and any small business within 7 years of starting up in Incheon that has products or services available for online sales can apply.

Crowdfunding means "funding made by the crowd," referring to activities where companies with innovative ideas or products introduce their goods to the public through funding platforms and raise funds.

Last year, 10 companies participated in this project, receiving support from a total of 1,261 backers and achieving a funding amount of 53 million KRW. After improving the funding rewards, they achieved significant results in expanding online sales channels such as entering and selling on domestic open markets.

This year, the city plans to select and support a total of 13 companies. Selected companies can receive up to 5 million KRW per company for creating detailed funding pages, producing product promotional videos, funding advertising, marketing, and more.

An official from Incheon City stated, "In the rapidly changing market environment, it is difficult to enter the market without establishing and responding with key strategies during the early startup market entry process. We hope this support project will greatly help small business owners stabilize their management by securing stable funds and various sales channels in the early stages of their startups."
