Participation as Busan Representatives in the 6th Korea-Japan Friendship Festival

Dongmyung University, a prestigious sports university, held a K-Taekwondo demonstration performance in Japan following their event in the United States.

Thirteen first-year students, including Hong Minju from the K-sports Taekwondo Department at Dongmyung University (Department Head Professor Won Hyeongjin), participated as representatives of Busan in the 6th Korea-Japan Friendship Festival from the 1st to the 4th, invited by the Korea-Japan Cultural and Arts Exchange Association.

These students performed a Taekwondo demonstration at the festival held in Saiki City, Fukuoka Prefecture, receiving enthusiastic applause from the attendees.

In September 2022, Dongmyung University also held a Taekwondo demonstration during an NFL game in Washington DC, USA, alongside the Angels Peace Arts Troupe and the MBA Demonstration Team from the American Martial Arts Academy.
