Prefabricated Concrete Assembly Method
Shortened Construction Periods and Reduced Finishing Work
Transition from Manual Management to Automation
DL Construction announced on the 7th that it has introduced the TCD (Trimble Connect Dashboard) system, the first of its kind in the construction industry, in response to the changing construction industry environment. TCD is a system that enables real-time status management from design to production and on-site installation at construction sites. It provides functions optimized for site management using the PC (Precast Concrete) structural method.
The PC structural method involves prefabricating concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, and walls in a factory and assembling them on-site. It plays a particularly important role in the construction of logistics centers. Based on its extensive experience in constructing logistics centers, DL Construction has achieved shortened construction periods and reduced finishing work through this method, while enhancing competitiveness by utilizing digital technology.
Previously, information management at sites was done manually, and reproducing information at each work stage was inefficient. However, after introducing TCD, all process information including design, production, shipment, and installation is automatically updated and managed in real time, and the status of each PC component can be tracked through the CDE (Common Data Environment).
DL Construction stated, "We plan to continuously pursue digital transformation by finding ways to efficiently improve existing tasks," adding, "We will build a better working environment through innovation in work methods."
