Samsung Electronics will sequentially launch the 'Galaxy S25 Series' in over 120 countries worldwide, starting from the 7th in South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Thailand, and others.
According to Samsung Electronics on the 7th, the Galaxy S25 Series recorded 1.3 million units in domestic pre-orders conducted until the 3rd of this month. This is the highest pre-order sales record in the history of the Galaxy S series.
The key feature of the Galaxy S25 Series is a personalized AI experience. The Galaxy S25 Series provides customized daily information briefings through the 'Now Brief' feature, and with the 'Now Bar,' users can easily check their activities even on the lock screen. By pressing the smartphone's side button to summon the AI agent, users can naturally input commands by voice as if talking to a friend and have tasks processed.
In collaboration with Google, the 'Circle to Search' feature, first introduced in the Galaxy S24 Series, has also evolved. With multimodal capabilities that can handle various data types, it supports sound search of audio played on the device in addition to the existing image and text searches. The 'Writing Assist' and 'Drawing Assist' features further enhance the productivity and creativity of Galaxy AI.
The Galaxy S25 Series is equipped with the 'Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy.' Based on an AI-based image processing algorithm designed into the chipset, the 'ProScaler' feature, which vividly expresses various content, is introduced for the first time, improving image quality by about 40% or more. Additionally, with the launch of the Galaxy S25 Series, the number of languages available for Google's AI feature Gemini expands to a total of 46.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics offers partnership content benefits for domestic customers purchasing the Galaxy S25 Series throughout February, including a 150,000 KRW discount coupon usable when purchasing the 'Galaxy Watch7' on the Samsung.com app and a 3-month free trial of YouTube Premium. A 6-month free subscription to 'Google One AI Premium' is also provided.
Samsung Electronics also started accepting subscriptions to the new mobile subscription program 'Galaxy AI Subscription Club' from the 24th of last month.
