Nine People Assigned to Eight Projects
Jeonju City in North Jeolla Province is recruiting participants for the '2025 First Half Regional Community Job Project' until the 11th.
According to the city on the 6th, this job project was launched to provide employment opportunities to vulnerable groups who are willing to work.
Eligible applicants are Jeonju citizens who are at least 18 years old as of the project start date, have the ability to work, have a household income at or below 70% of the median income, and own household assets under 400 million KRW.
This recruitment gives priority to vulnerable groups such as low-income households and female heads of households. However, those who are participating in other job projects such as public work projects, or households with more than one participant, are excluded from applying.
The project period runs from the 4th of next month to June 20. The city plans to assign a total of nine people to eight projects in seven departments, including the Youth Mall Manager Project, Jeonju Matbaedal Promotion Support Project, and Dementia Prevention and Management Project.
Working conditions are 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week. The wage is 10,030 KRW per hour, with an additional daily snack allowance of 5,000 KRW, plus paid leave for weekly, monthly, and public holidays.
Kim Hyesuk, head of the city's Job Policy Department, said, "We hope the Regional Community Job Project will help stabilize the livelihoods of vulnerable groups," and added, "We will continue to do our best to discover productive jobs in the future."
