City Hall Expands 'Nighttime Civil Service Office' Hours
to Improve Passport Service Accessibility
Suncheon City, Jeonnam (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) announced that it will expand the operating hours of its existing 'Nighttime Passport Service Office' to assist citizens who have difficulty obtaining passports due to weekday work or academic commitments.
The 'Nighttime Passport Service Office', which previously operated every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., will now be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the first time in Jeonnam.
Suncheon City will expand the operating hours of the "Night Passport Service Office," which was previously open every Wednesday from 9 AM to 8 PM, to be open from 8 AM to 8 PM to accommodate citizens who have difficulty obtaining passports due to weekday work and studies. Provided by Suncheon City
General passport applications and issuance are available at Counter No. 10, dedicated to passport services, located in the General Civil Service Office at City Hall.
To apply for a passport, you must bring an ID card, one passport photo taken within the last six months, your previous passport (if still valid), and the issuance fee. In addition, for minors (under 18 years old), a legal guardian (parent) must visit in person to apply.
A city official stated, "We hope that the extended operating hours will make passport services more convenient for our citizens," adding, "We will continue to expand customized civil service administration in the future."
