Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 6th that it will hold a mobile furniture expo from the 10th to the 16th, offering up to 40% discounts on popular furniture brands and featuring live broadcasts at offline stores.
The event will be operated under the concept of a furniture expo introducing the latest popular furniture and interior trends. On Lotte Homeshopping's live commerce platform 'L Live,' popular furniture will be sold at discounts of up to 40%. During the evening hours with high furniture purchase rates (7 PM to 9 PM), brands favored by customers such as 'Jacomo' and 'Essa' will be showcased intensively.
Purchases made during the live broadcast will receive up to 70,000 KRW in reward points and gifts, and customers will also be entered into a draw to win gift certificates. On the 10th, a live broadcast will be held on-site at the 'Jacomo Flagship Store' located in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, selling popular items such as the leather sofas 'Vianna High' and 'Elish.' On the 12th, Lotte Homeshopping and 'Essa' will jointly introduce the 'Simone Sofa.' Purchases made during the broadcast will also receive gifts worth up to 1 million KRW. Additionally, the 4-seater leather sofa from 'Downing,' a sofa brand with over 40 years of tradition, will be sold at a special price in the 1 million KRW range, and 'Simmons' beds will be offered at the lowest price levels, providing popular products at unprecedented discounts considering the high inflation.
Meanwhile, an analysis of L Live's performance by Lotte Homeshopping showed that furniture order amounts have more than doubled annually on average over the past four years (2021?2024). In particular, the 30s and 40s age group has emerged as the core customer base purchasing furniture through mobile channels. Last year, their share of furniture order amounts accounted for more than 50% of all age groups. A Lotte Homeshopping official stated, "We plan to continuously introduce premium furniture brands through live commerce, reflecting the needs of the key 30s and 40s customer segment in the future."
