Norangpungseon announced on the 6th that it has officially launched the ‘KTX Real-Time Reservation Service’ in collaboration with Korail. This service allows customers to book KTX train tickets and travel packages in one stop through the integration of train ticket issuance with Korail.
The newly introduced KTX Real-Time Reservation Service is characterized by integrating transportation, accommodation, and tour bookings to maximize convenience for independent travelers. It resolves the inconvenience of having to book separately and reduces travel hassle by providing a fast and simple one-stop travel reservation system, enabling efficient and economical travel planning.
Currently, combined products available for booking with KTX include ▲taxi tours ▲temple stays ▲admission tickets, among others. Norangpungseon plans to continuously add various tour products around the Seoul metropolitan area and local government-supported products to offer customers a diverse range of options.
To use the KTX Real-Time Reservation Service, customers can visit the Norangpungseon website or mobile app, click on the ‘KTX/Rent-a-Car’ menu, select the desired itinerary and number of passengers, check KTX train tickets, book the train, and then select additional products to use at the destination (tours, tickets/hotels/rent-a-cars, etc.). Norangpungseon offers up to a 20% discount to customers who book KTX combined products. However, short-distance routes under 10,000 KRW and some sections are excluded from the discount.
A Norangpungseon representative said, "This KTX Real-Time Reservation Service was designed to help customers who prefer independent travel plan their trips more easily and quickly," adding, "We will continue to expand innovative travel reservation systems for smart consumers and provide KTX travel at more reasonable prices."
