Sacheon-si to Conduct Business Establishment Survey in 2025

To Be Conducted from February 7 to March 4

Sacheon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 6th that it will conduct the "2025 Business Survey" from the 7th to March 4th.

The Business Survey is a representative statistical survey led by Statistics Korea and jointly promoted by local governments nationwide.

This survey aims to understand the regional distribution and employment structure of all businesses nationwide and will be used as basic data for government policy formulation and evaluation, regional development planning, and academic research.

The survey targets all businesses with one or more employees engaged in industrial activities within Sacheon City as of December 31, 2024, which independently conduct single or main economic activities.

The survey items include a total of nine categories such as business name, representative's name, establishment date, and annual sales. Surveyors will visit businesses during the period to complete the survey forms.

A city official stated, "The information collected through the Business Survey is strictly protected under Article 33 (Confidentiality Protection) of the Statistics Act and is used only for statistical purposes," adding, "As this is important data used as basic material for various policy formulations, we ask for active cooperation when surveyors visit."
