At the lobby of IBK Corporate Bank headquarters in Euljiro, Seoul, IBK Dream Wings artists are taking a commemorative photo.
IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 4th that it will hold the 'IBK Dream Wings' exhibition in the lobby of its Euljiro headquarters in Seoul until the 25th.
'IBK Dream Wings' is a project that supports the growth and social independence of adult artists with developmental disabilities. Since 2023, it has been jointly conducted every year with the Miral Welfare Foundation. This project selected 15 artists with developmental disabilities from various regions including the metropolitan area, Daejeon, Daegu, and Busan in April last year, provided mentoring programs by professional instructors, and supported exhibitions and promotion of their works.
This exhibition showcases over 60 works including Western paintings, Eastern paintings, and ceramics created with unique materials and techniques by the 'IBK Dream Wings' artists. Media art based on the artists' works will be exhibited, and various merchandise products will be prepared to offer visitors a unique experience.
An IBK Industrial Bank official said, "We hope the IBK Dream Wings project will be an opportunity for artists with developmental disabilities to communicate with the world through art and develop their potential," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our role as a corporate citizen through consistent and ongoing social contribution projects, including leading support for culture and the arts."
