Governor Kim San Declares 2025 as the Inaugural Year of Integrity Muan
Muan County in Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 4th that it held an integrity education session at Seungdal Culture and Arts Center on the 3rd to promote a fair and transparent organizational culture.
The session featured Lee Yunmi, CEO of Pine Education Development Institute, who was invited to emphasize the importance of integrity through case-based learning, making it easy to understand and relate to anti-corruption laws that public officials must know.
This year, Muan County plans to establish a foundation for 'Integrity Muan' by inviting professional lecturers for intensive monthly integrity education sessions. The county will also take strong external measures such as sending integrity letters from the governor, distributing Integrity Muan information leaflets, and holding integrity pledge events with related organizations, while strengthening integrity policies that residents can truly experience.
Additionally, to foster a communicative public service culture, the county will implement initiatives such as the 'Integrity Communication Relay' between the governor and public officials, an Integrity Golden Bell Quiz Contest, a one-strength-per-employee integrity relay, integrity commitment and practice ceremonies, and internal integrity surveys. These efforts aim to preemptively eliminate corruption risks, innovate organizational culture, and firmly establish a culture of integrity.
Governor Kim San stated, "We will make 2025 the inaugural year of realizing Integrity Muan, aiming for a corruption-free administration. We will strengthen the integrity capabilities of public officials and implement effective and strong integrity policies so that Muan residents can directly experience and trust Integrity Muan."
