Uljin-gun Achieves Record Highest Fundraising Amount in 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign'

Achieving the Highest Ever "Love Temperature" of 207 Degrees

Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, announced that it raised 1.03 billion KRW, far exceeding the target amount of 500 million KRW, during the 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' held for 62 days from December 1 to January 31 last year, setting a record high.

The campaign began with a fundraising event at the Uljin-gun Office on December 3 and achieved the highest ever "Love Temperature" of 207 degrees through street fundraising in towns and townships, successfully spreading a culture of sharing within the local community.

In particular, despite the prolonged economic downturn, the voluntary participation of residents continued, reaffirming that the culture of donation has firmly taken root throughout Uljin-gun.

The funds raised through this year’s campaign will be used to support vulnerable groups within Uljin-gun through the Gyeongbuk Social Welfare Community Chest.

Son Byeong-bok, the county governor, said, “Surpassing the Love Temperature of 200 degrees to reach 207 degrees is a valuable result created by the solidarity and warmth of Uljin residents. We hope that this campaign will encourage more residents to participate in sharing and that continuous social contribution activities will follow.” He added, “We will do our best to ensure that the funds raised in this campaign are delivered with care to neighbors in need.”
