Promotional Activities to Attract Visitors
During the Lunar New Year Holiday for Returning Travelers
The 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo Pan-Citizen Preparatory Committee (Chairman Ahn Kyucheol) announced on the 3rd that it carried out promotional activities for the Island Expo targeting local food businesses and tourists during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
On this day, about 40 members of the Pan-Citizen Preparatory Committee (hereafter referred to as the Committee) visited food businesses along the road in Gonghwa-dong, providing guidance on the implementation of a reasonable pricing system for the successful hosting of the Island Expo and appealing for participation in price stabilization.

In addition, the committee visited Yeosu Expo Station, where they actively promoted the Island Expo to returning visitors coming home for the holiday, receiving a great response.
Chairman Ahn Kyucheol stated, "Led by the Committee, we will unite the citizens’ capabilities to heighten the excitement for the successful hosting of the Island Expo and further accelerate our domestic and international promotional activities."
