Eyesvision, a leading domestic budget phone operator, is partnering with KT and YouTuber ‘Tzuyang,’ who has been continuously donating, to launch a donation campaign aimed at reducing the communication expenses burden for vulnerable elderly people.
On the 3rd, Eyesvision announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the ‘KT and Tzuyang Joint Support Project for Communication Expenses of Vulnerable Elderly’ at its headquarters in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul.
Representatives from Eyesvision, KT, and Tzuyang attended the signing ceremony.
This agreement was made to alleviate the communication cost burden on vulnerable elderly individuals and to launch the ‘Tzuyang Plan,’ which allows customers to naturally participate in donations by choosing the plan.
According to the agreement, Tzuyang and Eyesvision plan to support the communication expenses of vulnerable elderly designated by local governments by donating a certain amount proportional to the number of subscribers and a fixed percentage of the monthly collected fees. The Tzuyang Plan operates on the KT network, ensuring stable communication quality, which is a significant feature.
Tzuyang said, “I am glad to share the value of giving with more people through this agreement,” and emphasized, “I hope my activities can provide practical help to vulnerable elderly people, even if just a little.”
An Eyesvision official stated, “The Tzuyang Plan is an innovative model where customers and companies solve social issues together,” adding, “Through this agreement, we will present a new paradigm that goes beyond the essential value of communication services and strengthen our role as a social enterprise.”
They continued, “We look forward to the participation of many local governments,” and added, “Starting with this agreement, we plan to create sustainable social value and further enhance competitiveness in the budget phone market.”
