Ulsan Ulju-gun announced on the 3rd that it is publicly recruiting members of the Urban Planning Committee, which plays a role in reviewing or advising on decisions such as urban management plans.
The Urban Planning Committee is composed of 20 experts in relevant professional fields, excluding ex officio members, in accordance with Article 113 of the "Act on the Planning and Use of National Territory," Article 112 of the Enforcement Decree of the same Act, and Article 4 of the "Ulsan Ulju-gun Urban Planning Ordinance."
This public recruitment is being conducted to reorganize the committee members as the terms of the current Urban Planning Committee members expire next month.
The recruitment fields include experts with knowledge and experience in urban planning-related areas such as land use, architecture, housing, transportation, environment, disaster prevention, culture, agriculture and forestry, and information and communication, who meet the eligibility criteria.
However, those who have served as members of the Ulju-gun Urban Planning Committee for three consecutive terms (a total of six years) and local practitioners (architects, professional engineers) are excluded from the recruitment.
Application documents can be submitted by visiting the Urban Division of Ulju-gun, sending by registered mail, or email from the 3rd to the 17th. Detailed information related to the recruitment can be found in the Open Administration Notices section on the Ulju-gun website.
An official from Ulju-gun stated, "The role of the Urban Planning Committee is important in the operation of urban planning for the development of Ulju-gun, a mixed urban-rural area," and added, "We hope for the interest and applications of many related experts."
