Notification via Text Messages for Maturity, Dormant Insurance Funds, and Unclaimed Pensions
On the 3rd, Samsung Life Insurance announced that it will conduct a 'Finding Hidden Insurance Money' campaign to protect customers' valuable insurance benefits and safeguard customer rights.
This campaign will proceed by the company proactively notifying and paying insurance money that customers have not claimed for a long time. Starting this month, Samsung Life Insurance will send text messages to customers with hidden insurance money and assist them in claiming their insurance money together with their assigned consultants.
Hidden insurance money refers to insurance payments that have been confirmed but not yet claimed. This includes installment insurance payments, maturity insurance payments, dormant insurance money from expired contracts, and unclaimed pensions. Most cases occur because customers forget the coverage details over time after purchasing insurance and miss the claim period, or because they did not inform the company of changes in their address or contact information, resulting in not receiving accurate guidance.
If you are a Samsung Life Insurance customer, you can apply through the website, mobile app, call center, or by visiting the Customer Plaza. After identity verification, you can receive the hidden insurance money.
A Samsung Life Insurance representative said, "We hope this campaign will be an opportunity for customers to recover valuable insurance assets they had forgotten," and added, "We will continue various activities to protect customer rights in the future."
