At around 7:10 PM on the 1st, a fire broke out in a shoe storage warehouse in Jinjeop-eup, Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, and was extinguished after 7 hours.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
According to the fire authorities on the 2nd, the fire started at around 7:10 PM the previous day in a shoe storage warehouse in Jinjeop-eup, Namyangju.
When the fire broke out, the fire authorities issued a Level 1 response and controlled the major flames about 2 hours after the fire started. Level 1 response is an alert that mobilizes 31 to 50 pieces of equipment from 3 to 7 nearby fire stations.

The fire burned eight warehouse buildings, including stored goods and supplies, causing property damage worth approximately 1.8 billion KRW, and was completely extinguished after about 7 hours.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
