Bark Selected as Excellent Company in Busan City Startup Support Program

"We Will Contribute to the Revitalization of the Local Startup Ecosystem"

Recovery footwear company BARC announced on the 24th that it has been selected as an outstanding company in the '2024 Busan City Startup Support Project.'

BARC stated, "By participating in the Busan City Startup Support Project last year, we had a positive impact on the local economy and startup environment through an innovative business model and sustainable achievements." They added, "In particular, despite being in the early stages of startup, we achieved stable growth and were highly evaluated for significantly contributing to job creation within the region."

Busan City selected companies using a quantitative evaluation consisting of six categories including employment performance and sales performance, as well as a qualitative evaluation considering contributions to the revitalization of the Busan regional economy and the potential for future business development.

A BARC representative said, "We will continue to contribute to the activation of the local startup ecosystem with innovative ideas and high-quality products, and contribute to society in various ways."
