Inviting Five Outstanding Businesses to the University Headquarters on the Afternoon of the 20th, Expressing Gratitude

Pusan National University (President Choi Jae-won) invited five outstanding 'Supporter House' businesses that have supported the development and growth of Pusan National University and held a certificate presentation ceremony for development funds at the university headquarters on the afternoon of the 20th.
Pusan National University's 'Supporter House' is a sharing campaign with a virtuous cycle structure that targets small business owners near the university. Supporting businesses donate a fixed amount of development funds monthly to contribute to the university's development, and the university promotes the Supporter House and encourages the use of supporting businesses during university events to revitalize the local economy.
Currently, there are 157 registered Supporter Houses at Pusan National University, covering various industries such as food service, hospitals, computer supplies stores, and service industries. Among them, 15 businesses that have consistently contributed development funds monthly for over a year were selected as 'Outstanding Supporter Houses.' At this event, five of the eight companies with cumulative donations exceeding 10 million KRW (Woongbi Club) attended, including Eoga (Dongnae-gu), Dami Sushi (Dongnae-gu), Giwajip (Geumjeong-gu), Bright World Eye Clinic (Busanjin-gu), and Dongshin Tuna (Dongnae-gu).
On this day, Lee Jae-woo, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Pusan National University, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We thank the Supporter Houses that regularly support Pusan National University every month for the university's development, student scholarships, and research funds. Thanks to your precious support, Pusan National University is nurturing dreams and hopes while aiming for greater leaps," and added, "We will continue to strive to build mutual cooperation and support for regional development."
Park Jeong-rye, CEO of Dami Sushi, who has been steadily working with Pusan National University through donations and Supporter House activities for over 20 years, said, "Although it started with good intentions, I am proud to see that it now also impacts the local economy," and added, "I will continue to support the development of the university and the region."
The Pusan National University Supporter House can be joined through the Pusan National University Development Fund. Upon joining, the Supporter House is promoted through internal university notices, school promotional materials, and the development fund website, and the use of Supporter Houses is encouraged during various internal meetings and events.
