Internal Documents Found Among Belongings of Fallen North Korean Soldiers
Instructions Included: "Conceal the Wounded"
It has been confirmed that North Korean soldiers deployed in the Russia-Ukraine war are receiving extreme ideological education to "carry out the combat orders of Chairman Kim Jong-un at the cost of their lives."
On the 14th (local time), the U.S. Radio Free Asia (RFA) cited the North Korea specialist media 'NK Insider,' affiliated with the international human rights organization 'Human Rights Foundation,' and revealed an internal document found among the belongings of North Korean soldiers who died in combat in Kursk, Russia.
The document titled "Combat Experience and Lessons of the 94th Brigade" states, "If all combatants are prepared with strong ideology and belief, and high combat spirit, even enemies equipped with modern weapons can be decisively defeated through political-ideological superiority and tactical advantage." This shows that North Korean soldiers are being ideologically trained to aggressively advance against the advanced weapons of the Ukrainian forces.
The document also describes, "With the high morale and combat spirit to carry out the combat orders of the Dear Supreme Commander Comrade (Chairman Kim Jong-un) at the cost of their lives, and demonstrating self-sacrificial spirit, we ran across the battlefield like tigers, forcing enemies equipped with the latest weapons to retreat and liberated the Plekhov area (Plekhov in Kursk)."
This extreme ideological education has led to cases of suicide among North Korean soldiers. Ukrainian special forces released related footage, stating, "We killed 17 North Korean soldiers, and one committed suicide with a grenade." It appears that North Korean soldiers are choosing suicide to avoid capture.
Another document titled "Sequence of Operations to be Carried Out" included guidelines such as "Treat wounded personnel internally during combat, and conceal them as much as possible without assistance."

This aligns with the claims of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Earlier, he revealed that Russia is burning bodies to conceal North Korean casualties. The document also mentioned the occurrence of North Korean deaths due to communication problems with Russian forces. Although the Russian side was responsible for evacuating the wounded, evacuation vehicles arrived after about 10 hours, resulting in North Korean wounded dying during transport.
Meanwhile, among the personal belongings of the deceased North Korean soldiers, two family photos inscribed with the phrase "May these be beautiful memories!" were also found.
