On the 14th, Jo Seonho, head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, conducted an urgent on-site inspection of vinyl greenhouses, which are at high risk of fire during the winter season.
On that day, Jo Seonho visited Seungduri Village in Anseong-si, a densely populated area of vinyl greenhouses, to inspect residential vinyl greenhouses and urged residents to be especially careful when using heating devices during winter. He also emphasized the importance of following safety rules when using gas for cooking and other purposes. Additionally, he personally explained how to use fire extinguishers and fire alarms.
Jo Seonho stated, "We will continue to promote fire prevention and safety management in connection with this winter's safety measures," and emphasized, "We will strengthen management and supervision of residential vinyl greenhouses through collaboration with the relevant local governments."
