Donation of 20 Million KRW to Ewha Womans University Medical Center
Fan Club Also Participates... "Wanted to Help, Even in a Small Way"
Kim Jae-hee, a member of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, shared a warm heart at the beginning of the year.
Her management company, Initial Sports, announced on the 13th that "20 million KRW was donated to Ewha Womans University Medical Center for research funds on the treatment and prevention of hereditary ovarian cancer." This donation was made more meaningful as Kim Jae-hee's fan club also contributed. Since 2022, Kim Jae-hee has voluntarily donated 1,000 KRW each time she made a birdie in a game, raising about 9 million KRW.
Last year, Kim Jae-hee was hospitalized and treated at Ewha Seoul Hospital due to sudden abdominal pain. Following this connection, she recently signed a sponsorship agreement with Ewha Seoul Hospital. She has consistently continued donation activities to welfare facilities and her alma mater. Kim Jae-hee explained, "After connecting with Ewha Seoul Hospital and undergoing various check-ups there, I saw many different patients. By chance, I saw ovarian cancer patients struggling and wanted to help them in some small way, so I decided to donate."
Kim Jae-hee won the Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open in March last year and is active as a promotional model for the KLPGA. She wears the Ewha Seoul Hospital logo on her uniform. Ewha Seoul Hospital provides her with medical support and comprehensive health check-ups.
