Previously, in 2021, Ahn Sang-tae was identified as the culprit of floor noise and faced public backlash. A netizen, Mr. A, who revealed himself as a neighbor living in the downstairs unit of the Ahn Sang-tae couple, posted about the floor noise issue, sparking controversy. Mr. A also raised concerns about Ahn Sang-tae's response to his complaints about the noise. At the time, the Ahn Sang-tae couple expressed their innocence.

Subsequently, Ahn Sang-tae’s legal representatives filed a civil lawsuit against Mr. A. As a result of the lawsuit, Mr. A acknowledged that some parts of his posts contained inaccuracies or misleading expressions and admitted that the Ahn Sang-tae family had made efforts to prevent floor noise. He apologized to the Ahn Sang-tae family. Ahn Sang-tae’s legal team explained, "The truth was revealed and the facts were corrected through a civil lawsuit that lasted over a year," adding, "Mr. A apologized for all the posts he wrote to Ahn Sang-tae and his family, who suffered mental distress."

On the 9th, Ahn Sang-tae revealed his feelings of injustice after the floor noise controversy on MBN's 'Special Report World.' Ahn Sang-tae said, "I had to move a little earlier because of the floor noise controversy three years ago. It was a huge mess back then. I became like a criminal to the point where I couldn’t even leave the house," he confessed. He continued, "It seemed like Mr. A’s words were true, but previous residents said nothing like that ever happened. I met Mr. A in court, and when I asked the woman, 'Why did you write that when we’ve never met?' she said it was because of stress from raising a child."

When a merchant said, "I think you were misunderstood on TV," Ahn Sang-tae expressed his frustration, saying, "They don’t invite me to appear." He lamented, "I couldn’t even go out to eat. When I went into a restaurant with my daughter, I felt like a criminal and even more wronged. But that’s not the case." The most painful part was the malicious comments about his family. Ahn Sang-tae said, "There were many cruel malicious comments about my daughter, including some telling me to cut off a part of her body," adding, "I’m glad she was young. If she were older, she might have thought she was the culprit."

Ahn Sang-tae said he is currently involved in film production. He appeared in a supporting role in 'Veteran 2,' which was released in September last year, drawing attention. Once enjoying top-star level popularity with 'Aneobung,' he smiled bitterly, saying, "My annual income is 320,000 won."
