The Gwangjin District Council (Chairperson Jeon Eun-hye) visited the National Seoul National Cemetery on the morning of the 7th along with council members to honor the noble spirit of the patriots and war heroes.
In the guestbook, they wrote, "We will carry on the noble spirit of those who dedicated themselves to the country, overcome the crisis, and open the door to hope," reaffirming their commitment to overcoming the crisis and restoring public welfare.
Following this, Chairperson Jeon Eun-hye held the Gwangjin District Council's New Year's ceremony, praying for the souls of those who perished in the passenger plane accident, and stated, "The Gwangjin District Council will prioritize the safety of residents above all, and will do its utmost to cooperate and support disaster recovery and accident prevention." She added, "In 2025, we will do our best to overcome political and economic crises and bring a hopeful daily life to all district residents."
