A heartwarming story has emerged about an elementary school student who left a chicken purchased with allowance money saved up over a year at a police station.
According to the official SNS (social networking service) of the National Police Agency on the 7th, a warm chicken was placed in front of Samnam Police Substation of Ulsan Ulju Police Station last November. After seeing the unidentified chicken, the police checked the closed-circuit television (CCTV) and captured footage of a young-faced, small-sized child bringing and leaving the packaged chicken.
After some inquiries, the police contacted the child's parents and found out that they had visited the police station last year with the child to help correct the child's habit of lying. The parents expressed their gratitude, saying, "The warm words the police officers gave to our child at that time greatly helped with school life," and added, "Thanks to that, our child, who is currently in the first grade of elementary school, has become a model student."

The child performed this kind act by buying chicken with allowance money carefully saved over a year to show gratitude to the police officers who gave warm words and encouragement. Through a letter, the child also said, "When I grow up, if I can donate to the police, I will donate a lot. Stay healthy." The parents added, "Please make sure to eat it, considering the child's sincerity." Moved by this, the police invited the child to the police substation, and it is reported that they expressed thanks and gave gifts to the child who visited with friends and teachers.
