Rebellion-Elis Group Collaborates on Global Expansion of University AI Education and Data Centers

AI semiconductor startup Rebellion announced on the 6th that it has signed a mutual cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AI education solution company ELRIS Group to revitalize the domestic AI semiconductor ecosystem.

Through this agreement, both companies will promote ▲ the establishment of a cloud platform based on Rebellion's neural processing unit (NPU) ▲ exploring export plans for global data centers based on ELRIS Cloud's Portable Modular Data Center (PMDC) ▲ joint participation in domestic and international AI education-related projects.

First, they will conduct technical cooperation to build a Rebellion NPU-based cloud platform and seek opportunities to enter the global data center market based on this.

Rebellion has rapidly accumulated experience in commercializing NPUs within data centers and supplying server-oriented products. ELRIS Group possesses experience in building AI-specialized cloud infrastructure as well as capabilities in developing and operating PMDC. The two companies plan to design joint projects to create overseas references by leveraging such expertise and global networks.

Both companies will also actively engage in education-related businesses based on domestic AI semiconductors using Rebellion NPUs. In the university education sector, they will collaborate to plan and conduct AI education linked to practical university work and hackathons, joining forces to spread AI and AI semiconductors within universities. They will also lead the dissemination of AI in educational settings by developing AI digital textbook AI models created by ELRIS Group based on Rebellion NPUs.
