BISTEP Donates Warm Winter Fund for Vulnerable Groups in Banyeo 2 and 3-dong

Campaign to Collect Employee Spare Salaries and Love Donations for Neighbors 추진

Busan Institute of Science and Technology Education Promotion (BISTEP) visited Banyeo 3-dong Administrative Welfare Center on the 30th to donate funds for the underprivileged in the local community.

This donation was raised through voluntary contributions from BISTEP employees' leftover salary collections and year-end neighborly love fundraising activities. It was promoted to provide practical assistance to the vulnerable groups in Banyeo 2 and 3-dong during the winter season when economic difficulties intensify.

At the donation ceremony held that day, Busan City Council member Kim Tae-hyo, BISTEP Director Kim Young-bu, and the heads of Banyeo 2 and 3-dong attended to reflect on the purpose of the donation and the meaning of sharing.

Council member Kim Tae-hyo said, “I am grateful for BISTEP’s warm practice of sharing as a reliable partner of the local community,” and added, “The Busan City Council will also actively prepare policies to spread the value of sharing and promote welfare and coexistence.”

BISTEP Director Kim Young-bu stated, “I think it is very meaningful that the small sincerity of the employees has brought warmth to our neighbors,” and “As an institution that grows together with the local community and fulfills social responsibility, we will continue various sharing activities for regional development.”
