[Featured Stocks] Jeju Air and AK Holdings Plunge Following Muan Airport Disaster

Jeju Air and AK Holdings are plummeting following the plane crash disaster at Muan International Airport.

As of 9:20 AM on the 30th, Jeju Air recorded 7,350 KRW, down 860 KRW (10.48%) compared to the previous trading day. AK Holdings is also down 9.39%.

The previous day at 9:03 AM, a Jeju Air passenger plane carrying 181 passengers collided with the outer wall of the runway while landing at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do, then caught fire, resulting in a major disaster with 179 deaths. Authorities plan to collect the black boxes, including the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), to investigate the exact cause of the accident.
