The collective agreement began last November following the union's negotiation request and was finalized after over a year of discussions based on mutual trust and cooperation.
The agreement, consisting of a total of 102 articles, includes key provisions such as ▲ cooperation to secure special city authority ▲ efforts to improve on-duty working conditions ▲ securing budgets for group insurance premiums and health checkup costs ▲ matters related to the establishment and operation of the labor-management council, among various contents jointly considered by labor and management to improve public officials' working conditions and welfare.
Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, “The efforts and dedication of public officials are a crucial driving force behind Changwon's development. We will continue to strive to create a better working environment where our employees can fully demonstrate their capabilities through a cooperative labor-management relationship.”
Lee Sangshin, Chairman of the Labor Union, said, “We will continue to communicate with the city to create a city where both citizens and public officials are happy.”
Through this agreement, the city plans to protect the rights and interests of public officials and establish a foundation to provide better administrative services to citizens. Moving forward, it aims to realize a win-win administration through smooth communication and cooperation between labor and management.
