Enhancing Safety Awareness at Construction Sites, Achieving Zero Accidents
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) held a safety construction briefing session on the 23rd for personnel involved in the ventilation system of the Ilgwang District 4BL integrated public rental housing and the construction site of the city gas corporation to prevent safety accidents.
The briefing session was conducted to analyze the types of safety accidents that may occur during construction by work type, discuss measures to prevent accidents, and plans for conducting risk assessments. Key stakeholders, including the department head in charge, construction managers, the construction project management team, and contractors, attended from BMC.
The attendees plan to establish practical safety measures through on-site risk assessments and further strengthen the safety management system based on close cooperation with partner companies.
Additionally, they plan to systematize the safety accident prevention system at construction sites in the future and establish a safety-centered construction culture through regular safety inspections and training.
Shin Chang-ho, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, emphasized, “Through this safety construction briefing session, we aim to raise awareness and responsibility for safety among construction site personnel and will do our best to thoroughly manage the project to ensure no safety accidents occur until the completion of the construction.”
