It is Skyview Pocha located on the 38th floor, the highest floor of the Grand Hyatt Jeju within the Jeju Dream Tower complex resort operated by Lotte Tour Development. Also called the '38th Floor Pocha,' this place is known as a 'view restaurant' where you can overlook various scenes such as Jeju downtown, the sea, and the runway at a glance through the window. Visitors from home and abroad, including guests, travelers who heard about it through social networking services (SNS), and locals who want to enjoy drinking with lovers and acquaintances, come continuously.

Recently visited Skyview Pocha had a considerable number of users even on a weekday evening. The window-side seats where you can enjoy drinks and snacks with the background of the outside view were already fully occupied. A staff member said, "The window-side seats are the most preferred area by guests," adding, "Many customers make reservations and wait to sit here." It is said that during peak travel seasons or weekends, it is not easy to sit in seats other than the window seats either.
The night view of Jeju downtown and the lights of fishing boats working in the night sea, seen from the 38th floor, unfolded like a spectacle. Inside Skyview Pocha, colorful traditional Korean lamps hang from the ceiling. The outside scenery and the soft lighting blend to create a romantic atmosphere. Visitors repeatedly pressed their camera shutters with the pocha inside and outside as the background while enjoying drinks and snacks. The music that enhances the drinking mood mainly consisted of popular songs from the 80s and 90s.
Looking at the visitors, there were not only domestic and international travelers in family or acquaintance groups but also local office workers who seemed to have visited with colleagues after work. Regardless of whether they stayed at the hotel, enjoying the infrastructure of a 5-star hotel while the prices of drinks and snacks are relatively reasonable attracts various types of visitors to Skyview Pocha. Here, a variety of menu items, including stir-fried dishes, jeon (Korean pancakes), fried foods, soups, and dry snacks, are sold in the range of 10,000 to 30,000 KRW.
Looking around the ordering pad provided at the seat, there was a variety of menus including Korean beef yukhoe (raw beef), yukjeon (pan-fried beef), stir-fried octopus with noodles, stir-fried pork, kimchi jeon, seafood pajeon, seasoned whelk, boiled octopus, spicy fish roe soup, fish cake soup, spicy pollack roe soup, and tofu kimchi. There are also K-foods preferred by foreigners such as chicken, tteokbokki, and spicy pollack roe rolled omelet. When asked about the 'most popular menu,' the staff said, "Chicken, jeon, and stir-fried octopus with noodles are ordered the most."
All menus are cooked instantly upon order. One side of the pocha is arranged as an open kitchen where chefs’ cooking can be clearly seen. There are also various alcoholic beverages to pair with the snacks, including 141 kinds of wine, 24 kinds of champagne, soju, beer, and makgeolli. For those who want to enjoy the drinking atmosphere without getting drunk, non-alcoholic beer and cocktails are also sold.
A Lotte Tour Development official said, "As air routes connecting Jeju have expanded, the number of foreigners visiting Dream Tower from Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, China, the United States, and other countries is steadily increasing," emphasizing, "Skyview Pocha, where you can experience various Korean foods (K-food), music (K-pop), and the emotional concept of pojangmacha (K-culture), is a local attraction visited by many foreigners as well as Koreans, and visitor satisfaction is very high."
