A same-sex couple who adopted two sons has shocked American society by engaging in heinous acts behind closed doors. They were found to have sexually exploited the young adoptees through rape and abuse, resulting in life sentences in prison.

On the 23rd (local time), foreign media including the New York Post reported that the Walton County District Attorney's Office in Georgia sought 100 years in prison without parole for William Julok (34) and Zachary Julok (36). Randy McKinley, the local prosecutor handling the case, stated, "The two defendants created a 'house of terror' and prioritized their desires above all else." He added, "The defendants were deeply depraved, but their power was not greater than the strength of those who fought for justice and the victims. The resolve seen in the young victims over the past two years was remarkable."

William was a public official, and Zachary worked at a bank, so outsiders thought they were a perfect couple. The media reported that they flaunted their affluent life in the suburban Atlanta area by posting photos on social media. However, behind the seemingly perfect facade, horrific crimes were committed over several years. All victims were boys, currently aged 10 and 12. The victims were adopted by the Julok couple in 2018 from a Christian special support agency when they were 3 and 5 years old, respectively. Investigators suspect the couple sexually abused the victims from shortly after the adoption.

The couple forced the children into sexual acts and filmed these abuses to produce child sexual exploitation materials. They also reportedly shared details of the abuse and photos with other pedophiles. The couple’s horrific crimes were uncovered in 2022 when one of them was caught downloading child sexual exploitation materials.

Investigators collected security cameras from inside the house, which confirmed scenes of the Julok couple sexually abusing the children. At the time, investigators secured photos, video messages, and social media messages as evidence. William pleaded guilty to multiple charges including three counts of child abuse, two counts of incest, and two counts of child sexual exploitation. Zachary also pleaded guilty to two counts of child abuse, two counts of incest, three counts of child sexual exploitation, and three counts of facilitating the prostitution of minors.
