Chuncheon City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Yuk Dong-han) held an opening ceremony for the Uiamho Suspension Bridge "Chuncheon Sairo 248," which will become a new landmark of Chuncheon, at Uiam Park in Chuncheon City on the afternoon of the 24th.
The Uiamho Suspension Bridge 'Chuncheon Sairo 248,' set to become a new tourist attraction in Chuncheon City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, officially opened its inauguration ceremony on the afternoon of the 24th and has since begun full operation. With a project cost of 5.2 billion KRW, "Chuncheon Sairo 248" was constructed as a suspension bridge 248 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. "Chuncheon Sairo" means meeting memories between Uiamho, and 248 represents the length of the bridge.
Mayor Yuk Dong-han of Chuncheon said, "The Uiamho Suspension Bridge, Chuncheon Sairo 248, will become a new tourist attraction in Chuncheon," adding, "Starting with this opening ceremony, we will connect the tourist resources around Uiamho and advance into a high-quality cultural tourism city."
