Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 24th that it will accept applications for the '2025 Rural Guidance Pilot Project' for one month from the 23rd until January 22, 2025.
This project will be carried out with a budget of approximately 1.3 billion KRW, aiming to enhance agricultural competitiveness and maximize the utilization of rural resources.
Namyangju City will implement a total of 34 detailed projects across 8 fields including △Agrobiological Policy △Agricultural Technology △Agricultural and Livestock Support through the Rural Guidance Pilot Project.
First, in the agrobiological policy field, Namyangju plans to carry out various projects such as supporting young farmers to settle stably in farming and fostering rural healing farms.
Additionally, in the agricultural technology field, the city plans to support stable production of facility vegetables and fruit trees in response to abnormal high temperatures, and in the agricultural and livestock support field, it will promote pilot projects tailored to regional characteristics, such as establishing a safety management system for farmers and revitalizing the insect industry.
Farmers wishing to participate in the project should prepare the necessary application documents for each project and submit them to the relevant agricultural branch office or consultation center.
Project recipients will be finally selected by the Agricultural Industry-Academia Cooperation Council after document review and on-site evaluation.
