They will hold their solo concert "2024 DAY6 Special Concert 'The Present'" on the 20th and 21st at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul. This concert is the first performance by a domestic band at Gocheok Dome and is especially meaningful as a special concert held about a year after last December's "DAY6 Christmas Special Concert 'The Present: You are My Day'."

In 2024, DAY6 completed an extraordinary year by setting various records with their self-composed songs. The album "Fourever," released in March this year, delivered a message of eternity to their fandom, My Day, while the September mini-album "Band Aid" offered comfort to those going through difficult times.

The title track of "Band Aid," "Nok-a-naeryeoyo" (Melting), gained great popularity by ranking first on the Melon music chart, topping both the daily and weekly charts and marking a career high. Additionally, "HAPPY," a track from "Fourever," also achieved a remarkable feat by climbing back up to number one on the Melon Top 100 chart.

This year, DAY6 demonstrated strong momentum in performances by selling out three venues domestically. In April, they successfully completed the "DAY6 CONCERT 'Welcome to the Show'" at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, and in September, they kicked off their third world tour, "DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR (Forever Young)," at Incheon Inspire Arena.

Through the special concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in December, DAY6 plans to create an unforgettable year-end with their fans. Previously, they proved their ticket power by selling out approximately 34,000 seats at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, around 40,000 seats at Incheon Inspire Arena, and about 38,000 seats at Gocheok Dome.

DAY6's entry into Gocheok Dome is expected to be an important milestone for their future activities as a 10-year group. Known for satisfying the audience's senses with unique video compositions, effects, instrumental performances, and outstanding live skills at every concert, DAY6 will present an even more expanded scale of performance at Gocheok Dome. Their journey, which began with small theater concerts in 2015, now leads to Gocheok Dome, the largest indoor venue in Korea in 2024, raising expectations for the musical narrative created together by the members.

Moreover, DAY6 is successfully continuing their third world tour, which resumes after about 4 years and 8 months. Starting in Incheon in September, the tour continued in October with performances in Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Surabaya, and Jakarta; in November, they performed in Singapore and Bangkok. Upcoming shows are scheduled for Hong Kong in January 2025, and Los Angeles and New York in April. They plan to add more shows and expand the scale, with concerts planned next year in Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo, Manila, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, New Zealand.
