LGU+ AI Call Agent Service 'Iksio'
Expanded Application from iPhone 14 to iPhone 12
LG Uplus announced on the 18th that the devices capable of using the AI call agent service 'ixi-O' have been expanded to include iPhone 12 and later models.
Launched on the 7th of last month, ixi-O is an AI-based service that provides features such as ▲visual calls ▲answering calls on behalf of the user ▲real-time voice phishing detection ▲call recording and summarization in an on-device environment.
Previously, the service was available only up to the iPhone 14, but with a recent update, all iPhone users with models released after the iPhone 12 can now use ixi-O without any additional cost.
ixi-O surpassed 100,000 downloads within ten days of its launch and recorded 200,000 downloads as of the 7th, one month after its release.
More than two out of three ixi-O users are in their 20s and 30s. The largest share was held by users in their 30s at 32.5%, followed by those in their 20s at 31.6%. The next largest groups were ▲40s at 19.4% ▲teens at 8.5% ▲50s and older at 8.1%.
LG Uplus plans to develop a new service next year to enable Android device users to also use ixi-O.
Choi Yoon-ho, Head of the AI Agent Promotion Group (Senior Executive Director) at LG Uplus, said, "We have expanded the application of ixi-O to iPhone 12 and later models so that more customers can experience AI that helps in their daily lives. We will continue to upgrade the ixi-O service to provide customers with a differentiated AI usage experience."
